报告简介：
In this speech, I will addressed innovation and research in educational technology based on my research portfolio of recent 15 years, particularly how to conduct innovative study in interdisciplinary, cross-disciplinary and self-experienced aspects with team work. There are several categories of research innovation in educational technology addressed in this speech. Some examples of my publication will be shown and explained associated with these innovative research categories. I will also talk my research philosophy, time and team management in order to sustain my research performance and move my research forward.

Dr. Wu-Yuin Hwang is a distinguished professor of the Graduate Institute of Network Learning Technology, National Central University, Taiwan from 2010. Dr. Hwang has published around 100 high quality journal papers in major international journals indexed by SSCI, SCI and EI in the area of educational technology. Owing to the outstanding contributions of research outputs to National Science Council, Taiwan, Dr. Hwang received the Ta-You Wu, Memorial Award from National Science Council in 2005. In the recent 10 years (2007-2017), Dr. Hwang is also ranked in top 7 scholars of the world in terms of high quality journal publication performanceof instructional design and technology.

Dr. Hwang is also engaged in several academic services. He has been as the associate editor of International Journal of Distance Education Technologies since 2011, the co-editor of special issue “ Sensor/Recognition-based Learning in Contextual Surroundings" of Interacting With Computers(SCI/SSCI), the co-editor of special issue “The Disruptive Power of VR and Serious Games for Education" of Interactive Learning Environments(SSCI), the co-editor of the special issue “Innovations in designing mobile learning applications” and “Authentic edutainment with advanced technologies” of Educational Technology & Society (SSCI). Furthermore, he was served as the PC Co-Chair of DIGITEL 2010, AP-TEL 2010, EDUTAINMENT 2011, Advanced E-learning 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017and 2018.
The major research interests of Dr. Hwang include human-computer interaction for collaboration, multimedia tools/systems design and knowledge construction. Regarding the recent publications of Dr. Hwang, there are over 40 journal articles published or accepted by SSCI journals in recent five years.
